This February I entered 4 images in the Professional photograpgers of canadas national image salon. It is an image competition open to all accredited members, where they submit up to 4 images and face a panel of specially trained judges.
I was very nervous with it being my first time submitting pictures into any competition more serious than gurushots. But In the end I made out okay.
I had 1 image not accepted, two accepted and one earned a merit! I am happy with those results, and hope to beast them next time.
Poor Ember was not accepted, no fault of her own off course! The critique was mostly about her outfit and stick holding. Both dog pictures were accepted. and finally, "Making tracks" with Lyra in the snow earned Merit <3
